What data is needed to activate a supply
For both supplies you will need to have:
- name and surname or name, and tax code or VAT number of the holder of the supply;
- the POD code (for power supply) or the PDR code (for gas supply); You can find the POD and PDR numbers among the data on the meter if it is electronic and located at the activation site;
- telephone number and e-mail address, if any.
What are the documents to be returned to activate a supply
Following your request you will receive the contract which you will have to return to us completed as follows:
- the form certifying ownership or regular possession of the property for which the supply of power or gas is requested (residential title). To find out more and to download the form to fill out, go to the page dedicated to property ownership.
- form 326 in PDF format certifying the urban planning regularity of the property (application 326)
In the case of supplies other than domestic use you will also receive the contract acceptance form.
Don't forget to always send a copy of a valid identification document and to provide your contact details (telephone numbers/email addresses).
Failure or partial return of the required documentation will not allow completion of the activation request.
To send us the complete forms, use one of the following channels:
- via web: through the document upload service*;
- by email: allegati.enelenergia@enel.com*;
- to one of our contact channels.
*Documents must be less than 10 MB in size, and one of the following formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG.
You will need to request a takeover if the supply has been interrupted, or a transfer of ownership if the supply is still active.

Times, display and management of my new supply in the Customer Area
If you have signed the contract online on our website enel.it, you can immediately consult the progress of the activation by accessing the Customer Area and to the Enel Energia App: you will find a card where the information on the power or gas supply being activated is indicated.
If you activate both electricity and gas contracts at the same time, only the status of the electricity supply will be available initially. Once the gas supply activation is completed, you will be able to view both supplies.
If you did not complete the process online and instead signed the contract through one of our non-digital channels, you will need to wait for it to be recorded in our systems (no later than ten working days after signing) before it becomes visible.
If you haven't done so already, register on the Customer Area and download the Enel Energia App. For further information, visit the dedicated section.
