How the billing times have changed
From 01 March 2018 for power supplies and from 1 January 2019 for gas supplies, the customer may, in the event of over two years of billing delays and due to responsibilities not attributable to them, plead on the basis of the statute and pay only the amounts billed for consumption in the last 2 years.
ARERA - Autorità di Regolazione per Energia Reti e Ambiente - has clarified, consistently with the measures introduced by the Budget 2018 Law (Law 205/2017), that the request applies to all the fees relating to the components of the invoice, both the fixed (including the power share) and the variable ones, and can be processed by sending the form on the invoice or downloadable from the link Statute form.
