Last March 9, 2024 e-distribuzione S.p.A and A2A S.p.A., concluded an agreement for the implementation of some corporate operations which led to the creation of a new Distribution System Operator (DSO) which has taken the name of Duereti.

The agreement involves the sale of approximately 17,000 km of low and medium voltage electricity distribution network, which supplies over 800,000 customers in 129 municipalities in the Province of Milan and Brescia. In recent months, both companies have worked on preparatory activities for the entry into operation of the new Operator starting from 1 January 2025, in order to guarantee full continuity of the distribution service to end customers and measurement of electricity.

If your supply falls within the perimeter of the municipalities involved, the electricity distribution service has automatically switched to Duereti.

How can I check if there has been a change of distributor?

The transition took place entirely under the care of the companies involved and at no additional cost to you.

Will my current electricity supplier change?

The seller remains the one chosen, only the electricity distribution company changes.

Will the POD (identification code of my supply) always be the same?

The POD is recoded, keeping the last 8 numeric characters unchanged.

The seller implements the new POD codes in their systems and communicates this to customers in the first useful bills.

What should I do if I have an ongoing activity (connection, connection request, travel)?

In the case of procedures started before the transfer, the activities will continue by the new Operator who will provide timely information and indications on the new contact channels, without impacting the management times and standards established by the Authority.

Who do I call in case of outages?

You can contact the emergency number 800 269 042 and the contact channels are available to you on the new Operator's website.

How will the personal data of interested customers be processed?

The implementation of the agreement provided for the transfer of all active and passive relationships with end customers, together with the personal data of the same, or their delegates.
